Bernhardt Design introduced the Bombom lounge chair, designed by Francesco Favaretto, in 2019 at ICFF, NY. Favaretto drew his inspiration from a traditional German pastry, the Kraphen, and wanted to invite users to sit in the chair's plush interior. 

The Bombom lounge chair is made of two molded foam interior pillows that are attached to the rigid polyurethane exterior shell using velcro. The chair sits on a 4-star stainless steel base that is available in both matte black and polished finishes.
